Due to the pandemic, the ACL Music Festival has become virtual. With live videos and a playlist of the festival’s greatest concerts, one can enjoy the October festival from the comfort of their home.
Live appearances will be made by the likes of local artists – such as Melat and Black Pumas – as well as local figures – such as Matthew McConaughey, Andy Roddick, and Shakey Graves. Concert recordings include Spoon’s 2017 show, Paul McCartney’s 2018 show (I saw him live at this show. Highly recommend viewing), Twenty One Pilots’ 2015 show, Alabama Shake’s 2015 show, and, of course, Willie Nelson’s 2016 appearance at ACL. It’s not an Austin music fest if Willie isn’t involved somehow.
This year, ACL Fest 2020 will be supporting All Together ATX, the Equal Justice Initiative, and When We All Vote. You can stream the festival on Youtube. Note that all times are Central time. For more information, you can check out their website here.
